That last post header should have said 2007,not that anybody really cares besides me.Well Sri Lanka gave NZ a hiding yesterday.Black Caps looked flat and jaded,Bond had a terrible game.Mahela played one of the great World Cup ODI innings.He paced his innings beautifully.NZ had nobody to play that anchor innings and they duly collapsed to the mastery of that big eyed spinning freak Murali,what a competitor , what a player.So Sri is through who will they play?
Australia vs South Africa. This will be intense, tense and most of all nerve wracking for a SA supporter like me.It will be all power and all aggression.My favourite ODI teams to watch play against each other has been SA vs Aus,it's hard fought and there always seem to be an extra twist in the tale.
