Hands up for those who have been surprised by the lions!I remember
predicting them to come last, well they sure have impressed me.Ernst
Joubert,Andre Pretorius and Grobelaar dudes have been
impressive.Stormers have just been terrible,somebody please fire Kobus
van der Merwe,Mallet for goodness sake run the whole show!Hey maybe
Skinstad realized at the beginning of year this sharks young guns have
something special,hence he joined them.Their demolition of the
destined to be last reds was something special.I cant recall a SA
SUPER 14 side playing so well away from home in a long time.Old guys
like Montgomery,Smit,Skinstad and AJ SURE have guided the youngsters
like JP,Steyn,Kranowski,Barrit and Murray wonderfully.Also probably
having the best coach in South Africa has really also assisted the
sharks.Well it looks like the Crusaders look set to take the super 14
again and who can begrudge them after they put on a masterful display
against the force today,Blues look like their closest rivals,Isa
Toveau has really impressed me at centre for the blues this year.
